PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 30, 2007) - USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) conducts rudder checks as part of the ship's Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) following a six-month Planned Incremental Availability. All naval vessels are periodically inspected by INSURV to check their material condition and battle readiness.

NORTH ARABIAN SEA (Nov. 11, 2007) The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) transits through the North Arabian Sea conducting flight operations. Enterprise and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1 are underway on a scheduled deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and maritime security operations.

ATLANTIC (Nov. 16, 2007) USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) carrier strike group (CSG) transits through the straits of Gibraltar during the early morning hours. Truman is en route to the Central Command Area of Responsibility to support maritime security operations in the region.

PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 16, 2007) The aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) and other American and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Forces (JMSDF) ships transit together at the end of ANNUALEX 19G, the maritime component of the U.S.-Japan exercise Keen Sword '08. The exercise was designed to increase interoperability between the United States and JMSDF and increase their ability to effectively and mutually respond to a regional crisis situation.

MAYPORT, Fla. (Dec. 16, 2007) Nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) pulls into Naval Station Mayport after a six-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Disembarking the ship were ground crew members of the ‚"Maulers" of Sea Control Squadron (VS) 32. This was the last deployment for the S-3 Viking squadron, as the aircraft will be phased out of service at the end of 2008.

NORFOLK, Va. (Dec. 19, 2007) The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) pulls into its homeport of Naval Station Norfolk, after a six-month deployment. The Enterprise Carrier Strike Group deployed to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility to support theater security cooperation and maritime security operations.
