PACIFIC OCEAN (April 1, 2008 ) An AS-332 Super Puma helicopter lifts off the deck of the Military Sealift Command combat stores ship USNS Concord (T-AFS 5) to conduct a vertical replenishment with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CNV 68 ). Nimitz is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet operating in the western Pacific and Indian oceans.

ARABIAN SEA (Nov. 1, 2008) The Military Sealift Command product tanker SS Chesapeake (T-AOT 5084) tilts 13 degrees towards its port side to release the Single Anchored Leg Moor (SALM) into the ocean. Naval Beach Group (NBG) 1, Amphibious Construction Battalion (ACB) 1, and Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 1, install the legacy offshore petroleum discharge system to replace the existing multi-point mooring system that has been condemned beyond repair.

SOUDA BAY, Crete, Greece (Jan 8, 2009) The Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO 203) arrives in Souda Bay for a routine port visit. Laramie is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting Persian Gulf and anti-piracy operations.

SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 24, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk from the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4 âBlack Knightsâ transfers cargo from the Military Sealift Command dry-cargo and ammunition ship USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4) to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during a vertical replenishment-at-sea. The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of U.S. 3rd Fleet. L'énorme ravitailleur USNS Robert E. Peary (T-AKE-5) fait escale à Portsmouth pour tester les nouveaux quais prévus pour accueillir bientôt le nouveau porte-avions HMS Queen Elizabeth  tete marin

US Navy, Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship, USNS Robert E. Peary, Portsmouth, 11/03/17. Moored up at the newly refurbished 'Princess Royal Jetty', is USNS Robert E. Peary. The ship is in Portsmouth Harbour for the weekend, testing the new £100M equipment and jetty before the arrival of HMS Queen Elizabeth later in the year.

POLARIS POINT, Guam (March 2, 2017) USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) and USS Frank Cable (AS 40), the Navy’s only active submarine tenders, are moored in their homeport of Guam. Emory S.
