| 22 March 2007In this recent but undated image released by the British Royal Marines Sunday March 25, 2007, marines from 539 Assault Squadron Royal Marines conduct operations on waterways in the Basra region of southern Iraq as part of Operation Troy. Iranian naval vessels on Friday, seized 15 British sailors who had boarded a merchant ship in Iraqi waters of the Persian Gulf. British officials do not know where Iran is holding 15 sailors and marines captured in the Persian Gulf, and requests for access to them have been denied, the Foreign Office said Sunday as Tehran again protested what it called their illegal entry into Iranian waters. | 28 March 2007In this image made available by the Ministry of Defence in London, Wednesday, March 28, 2007, a GPS device shows the location of the incident involving 15 Royal Navy personnel, as seen from a Royal Navy helicopter over the merchant vessel in the Shatt al-Arab waterway on Sunday March 25. Vice Admiral Charles Style told a press conference in London, that the naval boats were 1.7 nautical miles (2 miles; 3.1 kilometers) inside Iraqi waters when Iran seized their 15 crew members, supporting Prime Minister Tony Blair's contention that the captured personnel had not crossed into Iranian territory, as Tehran claims.Faye Turney, 26, right, the only woman amongst the British hostages seized by Iran, an unidentified sailor, centre, and an unidentified marine, eat a meal, in this image made from television, in footage broadcast by Al-Alam, an Arabic-language, Iranian state-run television station, in Tehran, Wednesday March 28, 2007. _________________ olivier Les plus grands ne sont pas ceux qui ne tombent jamais, mais ceux qui se relèvent toujours ! ---> voir ma présentation |
